Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha pass trekking is one of demanding trekking path in Rolwaling region. This trek combines walking in Khumbu valley and Rolwaling valley. It offers a chance to walk on the remote and eastern region of Nepal. Plus, you will be rewarded by the awesome vistas of Gaurishankar, Rolwaling Himalaya range, Jugal Himal, Khumbu region, Pachhermo peak, Chobabhamre and more. Also, you may spot varied flora and fauna.
We will drive to Gongar River from Kathmandu. Experiencing the picturesque drive with the sight of the nearby surroundings and meeting local people we will get to Gongor Khola. Plus, we will walk on the river bank and after that traverse the river via suspension bridge. Also, we will ascend a steep uphill that takes us to the Sherpa village of Simigaun. Also, we will trek to Beding lying at an altitude 3,690 m. On the way we will pass through pines and rhododendron woods, enjoying the exciting vistas of Gaurishankar. We will walk ahead from Beding and have a short and trouble-free trekking day. We will carry on our trek to reach Na community, Na is speckled village where a lot of tea houses and even holds good camping alternative. Likewise, we will walk above the Drolambu glacier and pass a natural slope that takes us through Tashi Lapcha Pass lying at an altitude of 5,755m . Then, we will trek to Tashi Lapcha Base Camp. From there we will carry on descending down to get to Thyangbo Kharka and make way to Namche Bazaar to return back to Kathmandu.
