Mardi Himal

Lying to the east of the Annapurna Base Camp trek, the Mardi Himal trek outstandingly positioned at the base of Mardi Himal is one of the most unforgettable trekking options. Mardi Himal trek is a stunning trek option that presents a chance to pass through rhododendron forests and get rewarded by the wonderful Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, Ganga Purna, Annapurna I, Mardi Himal and more.

To begin Mardi Himal Trek, we will drive on the road from Kande to reach to Australian Camp lying at an elevation of 2060m. Also, we will trek to Forest Camp taking up the trail via jungle passing on a rising and falling path on the top of a edge. Likewise, we will trek passing through more woods with irregular sights of Annapurna South prior to reaching Low Camp (2970m). Moving ahead from Low camp to High camp, we will move out of the forest to the open edge with fantastic vistas of Machhapuchhre to the front and to the left- Annapurna South. Then, you will experience the most important day of the trek. We will continue to trek along the edge for around 5 hours to get to Mardi Himal Base Camp. The base camp is located at an altitude of 4500m. Besides, at Jhinu Danda, you will get a fantastic chance to dip into a natural hot spring and relax after a tiring trek. And you can explore around Ghandruk Village. In Ghandruk village we will have our lunch and explore around this biggest settlement of Gurung people and see their way of life as well as culture.
