Siklish trek is one of the prominent trekking trails in Annapurna area in Nepal. Siklish trek can be fit for any adventure lovers who have moderate physical fitness. Also, Siklish trekking is perfect for those who want to experience pastoral life and get stunned by eye-catching mountain views in a short duration. The main lure of the Siklish trek are walking on low altitude trek route, arresting peak views, wonderful natural scenery and more. It is also well-liked as home stay experience that starts from south-west side of Pokhara. Most notably, Siklish trek bestows great views Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himal, Machhapuchhre, and other bordering peaks over 6000m.

We will drive to Pokhara passing more than a few small villages and towns. You will drive next to with the Trishuli River and Marsyangdi River. Also, you will get pleasure from different view of peaks like Ganesh Himal, Annapurna Himalayas and Mt. Manaslu on the way. Then, we will drive to Bijaypur. From here our trek begins as we make a short walk to Kalikastan. The scene from Kalikastan is just alluring, as the panoramic vistas of enormous Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna can be witnessed. En-route as we go ahead Lamachaur, the trail ascends to Siklish through thick rhododendron wooded region. It looks beautiful particularly during spring season as the rhododendrons blooms magnificently. Also, we will pass by Nepal’s one of the main Gurung settlements. Moreover, here, you will be enthralled by the arresting Himalayan landscape and close views of Annapurna II, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal and more. Besides, passing through the broad rhododendron woods and get to one of the hilarious village, Ghale Gaun. From the village, we will get pleasure from the breathtaking views of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).

Siklish trekking path designed by is Destination Unlimited Treks & Expeditions is one of the less swarming areas in Annapurna region. Here, you will notice land varying from subtropical gorge of paddies to tall regions filled with rhododendron woods which will in fact enthrall you. Best season for Siklish trek is August to December and February to May.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m)
You will arrive in Kathmandu at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Our representatives from Destination Unlimited Treks & Expeditions will welcome you and help you transfer to our hotel after completing formalities. At hotel, you will meet our guide. Rest of the time, you can either relax or shop around Thamel for your trek. In the evening, you can enjoy Nepalese cuisine in one of the first- class traditional Nepalese restaurants in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
This is your second day in Nepal, after having your breakfast, you will depart for going around most historical and holy fascinations in Kathmandu. Most of the places you visit on this day are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square built between the 12th and 18th centuries, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square which are speckled with several small and big temples carved with beautiful arts. Plus, you will make a trip to one of the large Stupas in the world-Boudhanath. The region of Boudhanath is also well-known for more than 50 Tibetan monasteries, and is also referred as ‘Little Tibet’. Also, you will visit the holy Hindu temple Pashupati Nath, Swayambhunath known as ‘Monkey Temple’ . It is world’s most splendid Buddhist shrine which is led by a peak of copper gilt and is decorated on the four sides with Lord Buddha’s opened eyes. Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (Around 7 hours drive
On this day, you will leave Kathmandu and drive to Pokhara which is 200km away. On the way you will pass more than a few small villages and towns. You will drive next to with the Trishuli River and Marsyangdi River. Also, you will enjoy different view of peaks like Ganesh Himal, Annapurna Himalayas and Mt. Manaslu. Upon arrival in Pokhara, the unsurprisingly stunning city with several crystal clear lakes allows you to spend time at Phewa lakeside or walk around the market. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Bijayapur and trek to Kalikastan (Around 8 hours)
On this day we will drive to Bijaypur. From here our trek begins as we make a short walk to Kalikastan. We mount all the way from side to side with the terraced fields of Kandane. Then, we will walk on the stone steps to get to plane trail under the shadow of trees. The path is vertical but the location is astonishing. Now we go to Kalikastan. The spectacle from Kalikastan is just dazzling, as the panoramic vistas of giant Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna can be witnessed. Overnight enjoy home stay in Kalikasthan.

Day 05: Kalikastan to Lamachour
On this day, we will walk ahead from Kalikasthan. En-route, we will pass through several beautiful waterfalls. Subsequently our trail moves downward to the verdant green river dale. Also, we will ascend to Lamachaur on this day which is our final spot. Overnight home stay in Lamachaur.

Day 06: Lamachour to Siklish
Today, after we go ahead Lamachaur, the path ascends to Siklish through dense rhododendron wooded area. It looks beautiful especially during spring season. Also, we will pass by Nepal’s one of the prime Gurung settlements. We get to at the finest spot after ascending for approximately 500m higher than the village. Here, you will be captivated by the eye-catching Himalayan landscape and close views of Annapurna II, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal and more. Overnight in Siklish and enjoy home stay.

Day 07: Siklish to Bhaisikarka
We will walk ahead from Siklish and climb uphill passing by the rhododendron and oak woods. Walking ahead we will reach to the edge for noticeable sights of Dhaulagiri, Himchuli, range and Annapurna South. The pathway is narrow and makes us walk along the ridgeline ahead of trekking down from side by side with the rhododendron forest again. Home stay in Bhaisikarka for overnight.

Day 08: Bhaisikarka to Ghale Gaun
We will move today on a descending path through the broad rhododendron woods and get to one of the hilarious village, Ghale Gaun. From the village, we will get pleasure from the breathtaking views of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). Overnight home stay in Ghale Gaun.

Day 09: Trek from Ghale Gaun to Puranochour and by drive to Pokhara.
This is the last day of our trek. We will trek from Ghale Gaun to Puranochaur. After that, we will drive to Pokhara by bus. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 10: Pokhara to Kathmandu, 6 hrs drive
We fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara seeing the similar exquisiteness of huge peaks. In Kathmandu, you can just relax after the long trek or walk around and do some shopping. In the evening, we will get to enjoy farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 11: Departure
On this day, our representative will drive you to the airport. Hope to see you again.
