Nar Phu Valley Trek presents an extraordinary trip to the wild and not trodden area located north of Annapurna. Get an awesome experience of walking on the foreign and enchanting valley, Nar Phu . The valley expands to a gigantic area of high snowy white, antique villages and high elevated grazing settlements.

We will drive to Besisahar leaving Kathmandu and while driving we will notice trees, villages, rivers, farms as well as striking peak scenarios. From Khudi, our trek begins. The set there will present the first sight of the striking Manaslu range. We will also trek through rice terraces as we depart from Sirung and walk along a steep rock face, lush forests, and attractive villages. While trekking to Dharapani, we will also walk through rhododendrons and bamboo forests. We will pass by the settlement named Tal lying on a flat area near to the river beach and at the foot of a large waterfall. Besides, we will have rising and falling trail before we get to Phu Village. Also, we will trek to Nar Village walking on steep path and passing Buddhist stupas. Here, we will also be rewarded by the glorious views of Pisang Peak and many peaks. Moreover, we will have a long day hike to traverse Kangla pass lying at an elevation of 5322m. At pass we will be greeted by Annapurna massif. We will traverse the famous high pass, Thorung La located at an altitude of 5416m which also rewards you with the exceptional high Himalayan vistas that are so enticing that you won’t feel any kind of tiredness. Visiting Muktinath temple is another appealing experience as it is a significant pilgrimage spot for both Hindus as well as Buddhist which holds a Vishnu temple as well as a monastery nearby.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m)
You will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. Our representative from Destination Unlimited Treks & Expeditions will welcome you and help you transfer to our hotel after completing formalities. At hotel, you will meet our guide. In the evening, you can enjoy Nepalese cuisine in one of the first- class traditional Nepalese restaurants in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
After having your breakfast, you will visit most historical and holy fascinations in Kathmandu. Most of the places you visit on this day are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square which are speckled with several small and big temples carved with beautiful arts. Also, you will visit the holy Hindu temple Pashupati Nath, Swayambhunath known as ‘Monkey Temple’, and one of the large Stupas in the world-Boudhanath. Likewise, on this day you will also prepare for trekking and we will brief you about the trek. You can ask if you have any queries about the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Besisahar to Khudi (800 m) around 9 hrs drive
We will on this day drive to Besisahar leaving Kathmandu. The vehicle will drive us into the hills all the way through the twisting roads next to the Trishuli River. We will notice trees, villages, rivers, farms as well as striking peak scenarios. Our path separates at Dumre from the highway to Pokhara and we will drive north to Besisahar. After driving for around half an hour, we will reach Khudi, from where our trek begins. The set there will present the first sight of the striking Manaslu range. Overnight in Khudi.

Day 04: Khudi to Sirung (2200m) around 7 hrs
We will traverse some suspension bridges as we move ahead from Khudi and pass several up and down hills where we can catch the sights of rice paddies as well as subtropical forest. We will get nearer to the peaks that we witnessed from Khudi. We will also get the chance to meet with different inhabitants like Tamans and get to know their way of life. We get pleasure from the close vistas of Nadi Chuli and Manaslu as we arrive at Sirung. In Sirung we will get to enjoy home-stay facilities. Overnight in Sirung.

Day 05: Sirung to Chamje (1,410m) Around 6 hrs
We will trek through rice terraces as we leave Sirung and walk along a steep rock face, lush forests, and attractive villages. We will walk beside Marsyangdi River and captured by the incredible scenery of some small cascades. As we move ahead from Syange (1100 m), the climb gets difficult until we reach Jagat (1300 m). Then we will have a steep climb to Chamje. Overnight at Chamje.

Day 06: Chamje to Dharapani (1,960m) around 6 hrs
Today we will walk into the Manang region and pass by fields of barley, corn, and potatoes. We will also walk through rhododendrons and bamboo forests. We will pass by the settlement named Tal lying on a flat area near to the river beach and at the foot of a large waterfall. We will amble ahead to reach Dharapani. Overnight at Dharapani.

Day 07: Dharapani to Koto (2,610m) around 6 hours
We will depart from Chisapani and walk to Bagarchhap which taking approximately an hour. Also, we will pass by pine and fir woods. We will also visit attractive monastery in this village. Our path ascends steeply to Timang where you will be rewarded by the views of Mt. Manaslu as well as Peak 29. We will again pass pine forests. Walking ahead, we will also get to witness a short sight of Annapurna II. We will then arrive at Koto village. Overnight in Koto.

Day 08: Koto to Meta (3,560m) around 8 hours
On this day our special permit document is checked before we move ahead in the check post. We will walk along with Soti Khola and pass via wonderful pine forests to reach Dharmasala. As we walk ahead, we will ascend steeply to Meta village. To conclude the trek for this day, we will arrive at the Tibetan Plateau where we will be rewarded by awesome vistas of Annapurna II as well as Lamjung Himal. Overnight in Meta.

Day 09: Meta to Phu Gaun (4,250m) around 8 hours
We will have rising and falling trail on this day. Also, we will traverse some suspension bridges over diverse streams. After walking for approximately 4 hours, we will reach Kyang where we will get to see remnants, chiefly the ruined castle of the Khampa village. This is the village where once upon a time Khampa people lived. Then, we will walk the Phu Khola on a rocky trail and finally reach the Phu village in another 3 to 4 hours. Overnight in Phu Gaun. Included meals.

Day 10: Acclimatization at Phu Gaun
We will acclimatize in Phu Gaun on this day. We will be in the ‘Hidden Valley’; and we can travel around to see natural and diversity. We will get to meet different ethnic groups like Lama, Ghale, Gurung people her. We will see people subsisting via agriculture, and animal breeding in that set. Moreover, we will visit Tashi Lakhang Monastery which is listed out as old monastery among the 108 world’s big Buddhist Monasteries. The set also offers us a view of Himlung Himal and several other snowy peaks in the region. Overnight at Phu Gaun.

Day 11: Phu Gaun to Nar (4,110m) around 7 hours
We will descend from Phu Gaun passing several streams and suspension bridges taking around approximately 4 hours. We will pass another bridge hung 80m over the ravine of Lapche River. We will walk on steep path to get to Buddhist stupas until we arrive at Nar Village taking around 2 hours. We will be rewarded by the glorious views of Pisang Peak and many peaks. Overnight in Nar.

Day 12: Acclimatization and preparation at Nar
We will have another acclimatization day to get accustomed with the environment. Alternatively, we may hike to Nar village where we will get to see local culture as well as lifestyle. Or, we may just relax and prepare for next day trek. Overnight in Nar.

Day 13: Nar to Kang La Pass (5,322m) to Ngwal (3,660m) around 8 hours
We will today have one of the adventurous but rewarding trekking day. We will have a long day hike so we need to start walking early morning and move to Kangla pass lying at an elevation of 5322m. At pass we will be greeted by Annapurna massif. We will then retuen back to Ngwal from there. Overnight in Ngwal.

Day 14: Ngwal to Manang (3,540m) around 5 hours
From Ngwal, on this day we will move to Manang. We pass through the remote community of Paugh from where you can see giant Annapurna range. We after that will ascend to Mungli and catch main trail of Annapurna trek. We ultimately reach Manang for overnight stay.

Day 15: Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m) around 4 hours
From Manang, we will traverse a stream and ascend to reach a village named Tenki and move further to the valley of Jarsang Khola. The track follows the Manag Valley, passing only some pastures. The track additionally passes close to the small community named Ghunsa. You will see Ghunsa with a bunch of plane mud roofs. Then the path passes through meadows and we will also traverse a small river via a bridge, the track passes an antique old Mani wall in a lovely pasture and next reaches one more small village named Yak Kharka. Overnight at Yak Karka.

Day 16: Yak Kharka to Thorung Phedi (4,600m) around 4 hrs
We will leave yak Kharka to reach Throng Phedi. Thorung Phedi is a tiny settlement with full of activity that caters the trekkers. After walking for around 4 hours, we will rest in Thorung Phedi since we will have demanding days ahead. Overnight at Thorung Phedi.

Day 17: Thorung Phedi to Thorung La (5416m) to Muktinath (3,800m): around 8 hrs
We will traverse the famous high pass, Thorung La located at an altitude of 5416m. As we need to walk for more than 7 hours, so we need to walk early in the morning today. We will have to walk through the frozen high-altitude track but the rewards of the exceptional high Himalayan vistas are so enticing that you won’t feel any kind of tiredness. After having memorable time at the pass and taking enough pictures, we will walk to Muktinath. Muktinath is a significant pilgrimage spot for both Hindus as well as Buddhist which holds a Vishnu temple as well as a monastery nearby. Overnight at Muktinath.

Day 18: Muktinath to Jomsom (2,715m) around 6 hours
We will descend down to Kali Gandaki Gorge all the way through the barren land. We will go by Jharkot and Khingar settlements holding typical Tibetan architecture. Most of the way we will walk along the shores of the Kali Gandaki to get to Jomsom. Overnight in Jomsom.

Day 19: Jomsom to Pokhara Flight (823m)
After breakfast we will fly to Pokhara. The picturesque flight takes us all the way through the ravine of the two enormous peaks, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The serene lakeside city with distinctive surroundings of tropical type of weather and vegetation with the spectacular backdrop of the Anapurna Himalayas will allure you here. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 20: Pokhara to Kathmandu, 6 hrs drive
We fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara seeing the similar exquisiteness of huge peaks. In Kathmandu, you can just relax after the long trek or walk around and do some shopping. In the evening, we will get to enjoy farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 21: Departure
On this day, our representative will drive you to the airport. Hope to see you again.
