Lying to the east of the Annapurna Base Camp trek, the Mardi Himal trek outstandingly positioned at the base of Mardi Himal is one of the most unforgettable trekking options. Mardi Himal trek is a stunning trek option that presents a chance to pass through rhododendron forests and get rewarded by the wonderful Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, Ganga Purna, Annapurna I, Mardi Himal and more.

To begin Mardi Himal Trek, we will drive on the road from Kande to reach to Australian Camp lying at an elevation of 2060m. Also, we will trek to Forest Camp taking up the trail via jungle passing on a rising and falling path on the top of a edge. Likewise, we will trek passing through more woods with irregular sights of Annapurna South prior to reaching Low Camp (2970m). Moving ahead from Low camp to High camp, we will move out of the forest to the open edge with fantastic vistas of Machhapuchhre to the front and to the left- Annapurna South. Then, you will experience the most important day of the trek. We will continue to trek along the edge for around 5 hours to get to Mardi Himal Base Camp. The base camp is located at an altitude of 4500m. Besides, at Jhinu Danda, you will get a fantastic chance to dip into a natural hot spring and relax after a tiring trek. And you can explore around Ghandruk Village. In Ghandruk village we will have our lunch and explore around this biggest settlement of Gurung people and see their way of life as well as culture.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m)
You will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. One of the representatives from Destination Unlimited Treks & Expeditions will welcome you and help you transfer to our hotel after completing formalities. At hotel, you will meet our guide. In the evening, you can enjoy Nepalese cuisine in one of the first- class traditional Nepalese restaurants in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara (Around 7 hours drive)
Early in the morning, you will leave Kathmandu and drive to Pokhara which is 200km. On the way you will pass several small villages and towns. You will drive side by side with the Trishuli River and Marsyangdi River. Also, you will enjoy different view of peaks like Ganesh Himal, Annapurna Himalayas and Mt. Manaslu. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 03: Pokhara to Deurali
We will drive on the road from Kande which is very less used trail. Firstly, it moves slowly up and then moves on a quite steeper path to reach to Australian Camp lying at an elevation of 2060m in approximately takes one hour. We will then have lunch and walk downhill to Pothana (1950m). We will arrive at a checkpoint, then walk ahead to reach Deurali (2100m). Overnight in Deurali.

Day 04: Deurali to Forest Camp
We will on this day trek to Forest Camp taking up the trail via jungle. In the beginning we will walk on a rising and falling path on the top of a edge. Our path then descends steeply and then gradually ascends on the ridge to Forest Camp situated at an elevation of 2600m. It takes around 4 hour to reach there. Overnight in Forest Camp.

Day 05: Forest Camp to Low Camp
The track to begin with moves on quite steep path departing from Forest Camp then the steepness lessens when we move ahead. We will trek passing through more woods with irregular sights of Annapurna South prior to reaching Low Camp (2970m). It takes around 3 hours to reach low camp. Overnight at lodge in low camp.

Day 06: Low Camp to High Camp
We will on this too pass via jungle but we will notice the trees turning smaller. After trekking for an hour, we will move out of the forest to the open edge with fantastic vistas of Machhapuchhre to the front and to the left- Annapurna South. The trail afterward rises and falls next to the ridge and walking for around 3 hours we will reach High Camp (3550m).Overnight in High Camp.

Day 07: Mardi Himal Base Camp
This is the most important day of the trek. We will continue to trek along the edge for around 5 hours to get to Mardi Himal Base Camp. The base camp is located at an altitude of 4500m. After spending some amazing hours at the base camp, we will return to High Camp in approximately 4 hours. Overnight at high camp.

Day 08: High Camp to Forest Camp
On this day, we will return back to Forest Camp. We will stop for lunch at Low Camp then continue moving down to reach Forest Camp after walking for around 4 hours. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 09: Forest Camp to Jhinu Hot Spring
Leaving Forest Camp, we will walk down to Landruk and then reach New Bridge. From New Bridge, we will move ahead on the trail that moves gradually up to Jhinu Dada. As you reach Jhinu Danda, you will get a fantastic chance to dip into a natural hot spring and relax after a tiring trek. It takes around 5 hours from Forest Camp to reach Jhinu Hot Spring. Overnight at Jhinu Hot Spring.

Day 10: Jhinu Hot Spring to Ghandruk
We will on this day trek down to Kimrong Khola. After that, we will walk all the way passing through Ghandruk Village. It will take approximately 5 hours walking to reach Ghandruk. You can explore around Ghandruk Village. In Ghandruk village we will have our lunch and explore around this biggest settlement of Gurung people and see their way of life as well as culture. We can also visit Gurung Culture Museum. Overnight at Ghandruk.

Day 11: Ghandruk to Pokhara
You will start trekking early in the morning to witness the breathtaking vistas like Annapurna South, Himchuli, Machhapuchhre, etc. After that, you will trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul taking around 4 hours. From Nayapul, we will drive to Pokhara. If you like, you can go around to see stunning Phewa Lake in the evening or just relax. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 12: Pokhara to Kathmandu : 6 hrs drive
We fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara seeing the similar exquisiteness of huge peaks. In Kathmandu, you can just relax after the long trek or walk around and do some shopping. In the evening, we will get to enjoy farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Departure
On this day, our representative will drive you to the airport. Hope to see you again.
