Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trek is popular trekking alternatives in Langtang region. You will get a marvelous chance to travel around Langtang valley and discern Gosainkunda Mountain Lake. Langtang valley is also well-liked as ‘the valley of glaciers’. Gosainkunda is the holiest lakes set at an altitude of 4380 m. The lake is holy for both Hindus and Buddhists pilgrims. To begin Langtang, Gosainkunda Helambu Trek, we will drive to Syabrubesi (1467 m) from Kathmandu. On the way, we will get ahead of Trishuli (Nuwakot). In addition, you will pass via arresting foothills and sights of ridgeline before reaching Syabrubesi. And while trekking to Langtang Valley you will be enthralled by the remarkable views of the massive Langtang range. And, we can visit a monastery in a while before as we arrive at Langtang village-the headquarters of the Langtang National Park. Moving ahead, we will also discover the glaciated valley of Kyangjin falling on the base of Langtang Lirung on this day. You will be also bounded by snow-white peaks. At Kyajing, we become accustomed with the surroundings after resting for some time and pass through the close by areas with the amazing views of Dorje Larpa (6990m), Langtang Lirung (7245m), Langtang Ri (6370m.), etc. We will then, experience the most important days of our trek. Unforgettably, breathtaking sights will allure you as you see Langtang Lirung on the north side, and the Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Himalchuli on the west. After going across south side of the ridge, the track turns narrower and then you will discover the first of the Gosainkunda lakes named Saraswati Kunda, Bhairav Kunda and Gosainkunda. You will experience one of the important days as you will enter a cultural set called Helambu Region. We will also walk up to Tarke Gyang occupied by Sherpa culture with village and monasteries. The path moves on the wide valley end between charming Sherpa village named Gangyul and Parachin. The inhabitants of this community follow ‘Drukpa Kagyu Buddhism’ which is national religion of Bhutan.

Day 11: Departure

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m)
You will arrive in Kathmandu at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) by flight. One of the representatives from Destination Unlimited Treks & Expeditions will welcome you and help you transfer to our hotel after completing formalities. At hotel, you will meet our guide. In the evening, you can enjoy Nepalese cuisine in one of the first- class traditional Nepalese restaurants in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
On this day, you will depart for visiting major fascinations in Kathmandu. Most of the places you visit on this day are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square which are speckled with several small and big temples carved with beautiful arts. Also, you will visit the holy Hindu temple Pashupati Nath, Swayambhunath known as ‘Monkey Temple’, and one of the large Stupas in the world-Boudhanath. Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1966m) Approximately 9 hours
We will drive to Syabrubesi (1467 m) from Kathmandu. On the way, we will get ahead of Trishuli (Nuwakot). In addition, you will pass via arresting foothills and sights of ridgeline before reaching Syabrubesi. Driving beside Trishuli River you can also notice the views of Ganesh Himal as well as deep green hills. And driving for 9 hours, we will reach Syabrubesi. Overnight in Syabreubesi.

Day 04: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2581m)
From Syabrubesi, we will trek to Lama Hotel (2470m) on this day. Our way moves down all along the edge on the main path of Syabru and afterward goes down to the Ghopche River lying at2050 m. Also, we will descend on the landslide (1810m.) and ascend to Rimche (2400m.) passing from side to side with Bamboo (1960m.). You may also see wild lives like red pandas, monkey etc on the way to Lama Hotel. Overnight in Lama Hotel.

Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3430m)
From Lama Hotel we will trek to reach Langtang Valley which takes around 6 hours. Also, you will be enthralled by the remarkable views of the giant Langtang range. Moreover, you will also get to visit Tibetan community and see their culture as well as lifestyles. When we will walk to arrive at Ghore Tabela, we will be happy seeing the special sights of stunning Mt. Langtang Lirung. You may also see monkeys and local birds. We will continue walking gently as the valley unwraps and pass by some temporary settlements who allow their farm animals to graze in the high pastures. And, we can visit a monastery in a while before as we arrive at Langtang village-the headquarters of the Langtang National Park. Overnight in Langtang Village.

Day 06: Langtang Village to Kyanjing (3870m)
We will leave Langtang to reach at Kyangjin (3870m). We will also discover the glaciated valley of Kyangjin falling on the base of Langtang Lirung on this day. You will be also bounded by snow-white mountains. You may hit upon a variety of beautiful Himalayan flowers if you are trekking in monsoon. At Kyajing, we become accustomed with the surroundings after resting for some time and pass through the close by areas with the amazing views of Dorje Larpa (6990m), Langtang Lirung (7245m), Langtang Ri (6370m.), etc. Overnight in Kyajin.

Day 07: Kyanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel
We will today trek back to Lama Hotel after unforgettable time at Kyajin. We will trek for six hours from Kyangjin to return to Lama Hotel (2470m.) You will walk walking side by side with the Langtang Khola to reach Langtang village and continue walking until we reach Ghora Tabela. Here, we will finish our lunch and taking a perpendicularly descending way we will get to Lama Hotel. Overnight in Lama Hotel.

Day 08: Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru, around 6 hours
We will depart from Lama hotel to reach Thulo Syabru. In the beginning, today we will walk down to a river and go across it. As we ascend to Thulo Syabru lying at an elevation of2230m, you will be greeted by the stunning views of Langtang Himal and several other peaks. En-route, you will pass from side to side with pine and juniper woods. Overnight in Thulo Syabru.

Day 09: Thulo Syabru to Shin gomba, around 5 hours
We will walk ahead from Thulo Syabru catching the wide path and ascend to Dimsa settlement. We will go on walking on a steep path passing side by side with hemlock, rhododendron, and oak woods before reaching Shin gomba set at 3,330m. Moreover, while walking, you will also be rewarded by the incredible views of Langtang Himal as well as Langtang valley. Overnight in Shin gomba.

Day 10: Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda (4380m) around 7 hours
This is the most appealing day of the trek. From Sing Gompa, we will go up slowly with rhododendron wood along with the Trisuli river set far below. After that we will come to at Chalang Pati (3380m). Walking ahead, a signpost in Nepali prepares you that you will now go into the Gosainkunda protected spot. Here, animals killing, fire lighting, and grazing of animals are prohibited. Unforgettably, breathtaking sights will allure you as you see Langtang Lirung on the north side, and the Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Himalchuli on the west. After going across south side of the ridge, the track turns narrower and then you will discover the first of the Gosainkunda lakes named Saraswati Kunda. After going across a spur, the second lake becomes visible in the sequence, which is named as Bhairav Kund. Again, the path moves up to a ridge and falls down about 20m to the largest and third lake which is the most popular and the holy one –Gosainkunda. The lake lies at an elevation of 4380m, which is clear from the large Shiva linga. Overnight in Gosainkunda.

Day 06: Gosainkunda to Ghopte (3430m) around 6 hours
We will walk ahead from Gosainkunda, the track goes round the shoreline of the lake prior to ascending to the Laurebina Pass. As you move up, you can spot four additional lakes of minor scales from the pass lying at 4610m. Then, the trail moves down, suddenly at first to the southeast on a rock-strewn path, yet the walk is easier. Also, the path descends another edge after passing several streams and two waterfalls. Then, you will get to Ghopte (3430m), where hanging rocks have shaped a cave that is often used as a camp set by trekkers. Overnight in Ghopte.

Day 07: Gopte to Malemchigaun, around 7 hours
We will move down all the way through a wooded area and go up through a dried out river-bed to get there at a Kharka that is bounded by rhododendron wooded area. Also, we will ascend via the forest to turn up at the Thare Pati Village. Here, you will be rewarded by the wonderful views of the Jugal region. After going across the village we will also pass by a forested region to Melamchi River and then ascend to Malemchigaon (2,560m). Overnight in Melamchigaon.

Day 08: Malemchigaun to Tarkeghyang, around 7 hours
This is one of the important days as you will enter a cultural set called Helambu Region. We will also walk up to Tarkeghyang occupied by Sherpa culture with village and monasteries. On the way you will notice stone houses. Overnight in Tarkeghyang (2,590m)

Day 09: Tarkeghyang to Sermathang, around 5 hours
Leaving Tarkeghyang, we will move across small woods filled with stunning community of Helambu area. The path moves on the wide valley end between charming Sherpa village named Gangyul and Parachin. The inhabitants of this community follow ‘Drukpa Kagyu Buddhism’ which is national religion of Bhutan. Overnight in Sermathang (2,610m).
Day 10: Sermathang to Melamchi Puul Bazaar to Kathmandu, around 4 hours and 2 hours drive
We will move down to Malemchi Puul Bazaar mostly occupied by Sherpa people and drive to Katmandu. In Kathmandu, you can just relax after the long trek or walk around and do some shopping. In the evening, we will get to enjoy farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 11: Departure
On this day, our representative will drive you to the airport. Hope to see you again.
