One of the most popular trekking in Mustang region allures any trekkers from all around the world. You will get to see the world’s deepest gorge of the Kali Gandaki River, explore aged-old monastery and meet with local tribes. Passing through a tree-less desolate setting, a vertical rocky rising and falling trek will be one of the most unforgettable experiences. Also, you will be captured by the eye-catching views of numerous snow topped mountains including Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Annapurna I (8091m), Tukuche, Nilgiri (6940m), Tarke Kang (7193m) and more during the trek.

We will take up scenic flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu and then drive to Naya Pul from where we will begin our trek. We stroll to the northern part of Bhurungdi River. Then, the track climbs all the way through the sub-tropical valley forests. From Tikhedhunga, we will trek to Ulleri walking on the stone staircase which is well-off village inhabited typically by Magar people. After that, we will walk through the forest. On the way to Ghorepani, you will be captured by the eye-catching views of numerous snow topped mountains. And, en-route to Tatopani, we move down suddenly to Sikha, a great village and then we will again descend to Ghar River Village. In Tatopani, you can dip yourself and relax. On the way to Marpha, you will notice apple farms which produce apple for the entire region. We will also experience the most amazing part of the trek visiting Muktinath temple. Muktinath is a significant pilgrimage spot for both Hindus as well as Buddhist which holds a Vishnu temple as well as a monastery nearby. For the Hindus, the set is the region of salvation.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m)
You will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. One of the representatives from Destination Unlimited Treks & Expeditions will welcome you and help you transfer to our hotel after completing formalities. At hotel, you will meet our guide. In the evening, you can enjoy Nepalese cuisine in one of the first- class traditional Nepalese restaurants in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
On the second day, after having your breakfast, you will depart for going around most historical and holy fascinations in Kathmandu. Most of the places you visit on this day are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square which are speckled with several small and big temples carved with beautiful arts. Also, you will visit the holy Hindu temple Pashupati Nath, Swayambhunath known as ‘Monkey Temple’, and one of the large Stupas in the world-Boudhanath. Likewise, on this day you will also prepare for trekking and we will brief you about the trek. You can ask if you have any queries about the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Fly to Pokhara (823m) and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,552m) around 5 hrs
We will take up scenic flight on this day to Pokhara from Kathmandu. In Pokhara, you will be rewarded by the splendid views of the Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, five peaks of Annapurna range and a number of other peaks. Pokhara also holds beautiful lakes where you can do fishing, and boating. We can relax for some time and then drive to Naya Pul from where we will begin our trek. We stroll to the northern part of Bhurungdi River. Then, the track climbs all the way through the sub-tropical valley forests. We will after that cross the Modi River through a suspension bridge to the community called Tikhedhunga. Overnight in Tikhedhunga.

Day 04: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,750m) around 7 hrs
From Tikhedhunga, we will trek to Ulleri walking on the stone staircase which is well-off village inhabited typically by Magar people. After that, we will walk through the forest. If you are trekking in spring season, you will get to discern a lot of rhododendron flowers blooming beautifully. The trail goes up smoothly all the way through meadows, and cultivated fields. You have the chance to observe a lot of wild lives on the way. If you are an keen birdwatcher you can also get the chance to spot different species of birds like redstarts, dippers, varieties of kingfishers, a lot of types of warblers, barbets, etc. And you will be captured by the eye-catching views of numerous snow topped mountains including Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Tukuche, Nilgiri (6940m), Tarke Kang (7193m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Annapurna I (8091m) and more. We will walk for around 5 hours on this day and reach Ghorepani. In Ghorepani we will feel the chilly weather particularly during the evenings. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Day 05: Ghorepani to Tatopani (1,190m) around 6 hours
We will depart from Ghorepani that rewarded us with panoramic vistas of the stunning mountains. En-route to Tatopani, we move down suddenly to Sikha, a great village and then we will again descend to Ghar River Village. We will then arrive at Tatopani after traversing a suspension bridge. Tatopani. Tatopani in Nepali language means hot water. The name came up as the set holds natural hot water springs where you can dip yourself and relax. Overnight in Tatopani.

Day 06: Tatopani to Ghasa (2,110m) around 6 hrs
We will move ahead from Tatopani on this day. Our path will follow the Kali Gandaki river that flows under the gorge sandwiched by two 8000m giant mountains. We will move along passing eye-catching Rupse waterfall. After that the path ascends to the Thakali community named Ghasa. Ghasa is bliss for the bird lovers. Overnight in Ghasa.

Day 07: Ghasa to Marpha (2,680m) around 5hrs
A steep way up through wooded area from Ghasa will take us to Lete River then arrive at Lete. We will continue walking to the east side of the Kaligandaki and then reach Larjung Village. From here we will traverse Tukche lying at 2590m. After that, we will notice apple farms which produce apple for the entire region and finally arrive at Marpha Village. Overnight in Marpha.

Day 08: Marpha to Kagbeni (2,810) approximately 5 hrs
We will leave Marpha on this day and walk along the valley side, rising steadily before traversing a ridge prior to reaching Jomsom Village. Also, we will move across the Panga Khola to get to Ekle Bhatti. From Jomsom, we will feel windy in the day and the walk continues on the steady trail. To reach Kagbeni, we will have easy walk. Kagbeni lies at the shore of two rivers. Kagbeni is an attractive desolate village located on the major Trans himalayan salt business way to Tibet through Upper Mustang area. Overnight in Kagbeni.

Day 09: Kagbeni to Muktinath (3,810m) around 6 hrs
After our special permit is checked as we move ahead from Kagbeni, we will walk to the river shore of Kaligandaki up stream. We will notice charming and striking places to rest for some time. From Kagbeni the pathway ascends steeply to track that takes us to Khingar lying at 3200m. The track makes way up through barren region countryside until we arrive at Jarkot Village. Walking further, we will reach Muktinath. Overnight in Muktinath.

Day 10: Muktinath to Jomsom (2,715m) around 6 hrs
Muktinath is a significant pilgrimage spot for both Hindus as well as Buddhist which holds a Vishnu temple as well as a monastery nearby. For the Hindus, the set is the region of salvation. There is water pouring out of a number of channels for the river running over the temple. You will also captured by the wonderful views of Dhaulagiri peak visible from From Muktinath, we will return back to Jomsom. Overnight in Jomsom.

Day 11: Flight to Pokhara
On this day, we will fly back to Pokhara after we have our breakfast. We will enjoy thirty minute dramatic flight as we will get to witness giant peaks like Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. In Pokhara, we will move to one of the hotels at lakeside. Rest of the time, we can just relax or walk along the shore of stunning Fewa Lake, a second largest lake of Nepal. We may also go for boting around the Fewa Lake. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Pokhara to Kathmandu
We fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara seeing the similar exquisiteness of huge peaks. In Kathmandu, you can just relax after the long trek or walk around and do some shopping. In the evening, we will get to enjoy farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Departure
On this day, our representative will drive you to the airport. Hope to see you again.
