Everest View Trek is an extraordinary and short trek which lets you enjoy the glory of trekking in Everest region and witness the highest peak of the world Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world from the best possible view point. This is an idyllic trekking for those who want to experience the exquisiteness of the giant Himalayas and the way of life of the local inhabitants living there.

We will drive to Kathmandu airport and catch flight early in the morning to Lukla (2,800m) and trek to Phakding. Walking all the way through a stunning pine forest, the path along the Dudh Koshi River as well as traversing suspension bridges will let us see breathtaking vista of the shimmering Mt. Thamserku (6618 m). Passing communities like Benkar, and Manjo, we will reach to the entrance point to Sagarmatha National Park. We will take rest in Namche Bazaar to get adapted with the lofty atmosphere. Also, we will walk up to reach Khumjung village. The Khumjung valley is bounded by the snow-white mountains like Kondge, Thamserku etc. We will walk down to Dudhkoshi River passing all the way through small settlements and pine and fir wood to get to a tiny knoll Tengboche which embraces well-known Tengboche Gumba to explore for the day and capture the pictorial views from here are considered to be the world’s most splendid one. Everest (8848m), Kwangde (6187m), Lhotse (8501m), Tawachee (6542m), Kantega, Ama Dablan, and Thamserku provide stimulating vistas of Himalayas.

The Everest View Trek arranged by Destination Unlimited Treks & Expeditions suits both experienced as well as novice trekkers who have normal physical fitness. And the best season to go for the trek is in between mid September to mid December and between March to May.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m)
You will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. One of the representatives from Destination Unlimited Treks & Expeditions will welcome you and help you transfer to our hotel after completing formalities. At hotel, you will meet our guide . In the evening, you can enjoy Nepalese cuisine in one of the best restaurants in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
On this day after having breakfast, you will go around most historical and holy attractions in Kathmandu. Most of the places you visit on this day are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square which are spotted with several small and large temples carved with stunning arts. Also, you will visit the holy Hindu temple Pashupati Nath, Swayambhunath known as ‘Monkey Temple’, and one of the large Stupas in the world-Boudhanath. Likewise, on this day you will also prepare for trekking. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Luckla to Phakding (2,652m) Around 4 hours trek
We will drive to Kathmandu airport and catch flight early in the morning to Lukla (2,800m). It is a entrance way to begin our trek. Lukla is one of the most eye-catching air ways in the world as it has remarkable landing on a hillside bordered by elevated peaks. As soon as we reach Lukla, we will start our trek passing the village to get to Phakding. Overnight in Phakding.

Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m) Around 6 hrs trek
Walking all the way through a stunning pine forest, the path along the Dudh Koshi River as well as traversing suspension bridges will let us see breathtaking vista of the shimmering Mt. Thamserku (6618 m). Passing communities like Benkar, and Monjo, we will reach to the entrance point to Sagarmatha National Park. Then, passing village of Jorsale, we will reach Namche Bazaar, major trading centre of this region. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Rest day in Namche Bazaar
On this day, you will take rest in Namche Bazaar to get adapted with the lofty atmosphere. Health expert advises having acclimatization day during trekking in order to stay away from altitude sickness. Namche Bazaar actually is the hub of the Everest region and the place has government offices, Internet cafes, ATMs, shops, restaurants. Etc. You can enjoy resting or just walking around or do some shopping. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Khumjung (3810 m) around 4 hours
Today’s journey begins with a way up to the well-known landing field at Syangboche. We will walk up to two hours to reach Khumjung village. The Khumjung valley is bounded by the snow-white mountains like Kondge, Thamserku etc. Here, we will also get the chance to go around Hillary School. Besides, witnessing multicolored monasteries adorned with prayer flags as well as prayer wheels above this long-established village is another fascination of the trek. Overnight in Khumjung.

Day 07: Khumjung – Tengboche (3,870m) around 5 hours
We will walk down to Dudhkoshi River passing all the way through small settlements and pine and fir wood to get to a tiny knoll Tengboche which embraces well-known Tengboche Gumba to explore for the day. The photogenic views from here are considered to be the world’s most splendid one. Everest (8848m), Kwangde (6187m), Lhotse (8501m), Tawachee (6542m), Kantega, Ama Dablan, and Thamserku provide stimulating vistas of Himalayas. Over night at lodge.

Day 08: Tengboche to Kyangjuma (3,570m) around 5 hours
From Tengboche, we will have a steep way down that passes through rhododendron and fir woods to the Dudh Koshi River. We will traverse the bridge over Dudh Koshi and pass the village of Tashinga as well as Sansa before arriving at Kyangjuma. Here, we will get to observe Ama-dablam, Nuptse, Thamserku, Lhotse as well as Everest. Overnight at Kyangjuma.

Day 09: Kyangjuma to Manjo (2,840m) Around 5 hours
We will today depart from Kyangjuma and pass zigzag path through woods and reach Namche. After a vertical drop from Namche we will traverse Dudh Kosi river two times at different sets before reaching Monjo. Manjo is fairly a calm set to reside than Namche Overnight at Manjo.

Day 10: Trek to Lukla around 5 hours trek
We will walk on flat trail today and also pass some descends and short ascents as well. We can get pleasure from combo of unwrapped plains, pine and rhododendron forests. You will also get to witness the distant backdrop of Kwangde peak. The final climb lasts for approximately 45 minutes from Chheplung and helps us to reach Lukla. Overnight at Lukla.

Day 11: Lukla to Kathmandu
Today, we will fly back to Kathmandu after our memorable journey. Upon reaching hotel in Kathmandu, we can relax. Or, you can go around some nearby shops in Thamel to buy typical Nepalese commodities. In the evening, you will enjoy farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 12: Departure
On this day, our representative will drive you to the airport. Hope to see you again.
