Arun valley Treks presents a chance to get rewarded by the really excellent views of gigantic peaks like Makalu and Mt Everest and. Trekking to this valley also offers an alternative way to enter the Khumbu region. Arun valley Trek also give an opportunity to pass by Sherpa, Rai villages, Chhetri and Brahmin villages and you can meet with the warming natured people living there. Actually, the trek to Arun Valley is not too difficult, yet the trekkers need to have a fair level of fitness to trek and experience charm of the region.

We will move to the airport and take up early morning flight to reach Lukla (2,800m) and trek passing the village to get to Phakding. Also, we will climb to Surke village. And, we will walk ahead on a steep way and pass all the way through the community called Paiyan La. While leaving Pangum, we take a trail that descends to the valley lying to the north. We will ascend to the east part of the valley until we reach the Sherpa village named Chereme. Likewise, we will trek to Surki La pass which is also named as Sipki La. The pass presents panoramic vistas of the reverse side of the Khumbu peak. It is the first among three passes on the Arun Valley trek. Moreover, we will climb from side to side with breathtaking woods to Salpa La (3565m) which is the uppermost point of the trek. You will also get the awesome chance to see the lake at Salpa Pokhari next to the pass which is identified as a holy lake for Hindus. We will also pass the rice paddies, before reaching Kartike Pul. After that we will reach at the Chhetri village of Chyawabesi and then trek to Tumlingtar to return back to Kathmandu.

Day 13: Departure

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m)
You will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. One of the representatives from Destination Unlimited Treks & Expeditions will welcome you and help you transfer to our hotel after completing formalities. At hotel, you will meet our guide. In the evening, you can enjoy Nepalese cuisine in one of the first- class traditional Nepalese restaurants in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
On the second day, you will depart for going around most historical and holy fascinations in Kathmandu. Most of the places you visit on this day are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square which are speckled with several small and big temples carved with beautiful arts. Also, you will visit the holy Hindu temple Pashupati Nath, Swayambhunath known as ‘Monkey Temple’, and one of the large Stupas in the world-Boudhanath. Likewise, on this day you will also prepare for trekking and we will brief you about the trek. You can ask if you have any queries about the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Phakding (2,652m) approximately 4 hours trek
On this day, we will move to the airport and take up early morning flight to reach Lukla (2,800m) from where the trek begins. Lukla is one of the most stunning air ways in the world as it has dramatic landing on a hillside bordered by elevated peaks. As soon as we reach Lukla, we will start our trek passing the village to get to Phakding. Overnight in Phakding.

Day 04: Phakding to Payan (2770m)
Early in the morning you will move ahead from Phakding and descent along the Dudh Kosi river. Also, we will climb to Surke village. From Khumbu we will move down to the southern side to a junction in the settlement called Chablung. Also, we will walk ahead on a steep way and pass all the way through the community called Paiyan La. It is set at the peak of the large lynching valley on top of the Dudh Kosi River. Ovrnightin Payan.

Day 05: Payan to Pangum (3100m)
From this day our Arun Valley Trek begins. We will depart from the well-liked Everest trekking way and curve higher than the Dudh Koshi valley all the way through to reach Pangum. We will notice the way being infuriating. The path switches into side valleys then to Pangum. Overnight in Pangum.

Day 06: Pangum to Na Dingma (3178m)
We will leave Pangum and take a trail that descends to the valley lying to the north. We will ascend to the east part of the valley until we reach the Sherpa village named Chereme. We will notice the rocks layering the larger gaps between tree branches and planks. Also, we will traverse the second main edge and move down to the lush and more populated Hongu valley. And then, we have an easy walk to get to Na Dingma. We will trek for 5 hours today. Overnight in Na Dingma.

Day 07: Na Dingma to Bung (1670m)
We will leave Na Dingma and go across a small river then climb to reach Surkie La. Surki La pass is also named as Sipki La. This rock-strewn and muddy way up can be greasy some times. The pass presents panoramic vistas of the reverse side of the Khumbu peak. It is the first among three passes on the Arun Valley trek. We will then cross the Inukhu valley and spend some time witnessing granf views of giant peaks like Mere peak. We will then reach Bung after passing Cheskam. Overnight in Bung.

Day 08: Bung to Sanam (3260m)
We will have a challenging way up this day as we ascend from Hongu, then carry walkinh on the first phase of the climb to Salpa Bhanjyang. It is an isolated part of the way and you will enter the Sherpa-country with abundance of striking woods and cascades. We will also enjoy the final way down steps of the day. We will also notice Nimstola Gompa en-route and then you will reach at Sanam. Overnight in Sanam after 7 hours walk.

Day 09: Sanam to Salpa Phedi (2514)
We will make way up to the Irkhuwa Valley from Sanam which is a branch of the Arun basin. After that our path moves to the north directions and traverses the Lidung River. Then, we will pass all the way through a clearing and walk through a truly wonderful wooded valley enclosed with lynching moss. You will also notice Rai and Sherpa family’s tea houses on the way. After around 4 hours we will reach Salpha Phedi.

Day 10: Salpa Phedi to Chyawabensi (2190m)
We will depart from Salpha Phedi and climb from side to side with breathtaking woods to Salpa La (3565m) which is the uppermost point of the trek. You will also get the awesome chance to see the lake at Salpa Pokhari next to the pass which is identified as a holy lake for Hindus. We will then have an easy way next to Irkhuwa river that meets the Arun. You will laso have to traverse a large spur which is the difficult part of the trek. As soon as we cross, the great Arun will come into view quite abruptly strong and quiet running to the south direction below. Then the way moves through sub tropical forest downward to the community of Balawa Besi lying on the shore of the Arun. We will also pass the rice paddies, before reaching Kartike Pul. After that we will reach at the Chhetri village of Chyawabesi. Overnight at Chyawabensi.

Day 11: Chyawabensi to Tumlingtar (360m)
On this day our trail strolls beside the Arun from side to side with the jungle. We will have a short walk to move down to get to Tumlingtar. As the scorching sunlight may bother you during the daylight, you need to walk early to make the trek for today pleasant. Overnight in Tumlingtar.

Day 12: Tumlingtar to Kathmandu
We will on this day drive back to Kathmandu. You will drive beside a beautiful river and pass by huge forests and terrace farming. You will also notice small town and villages on the way. Rest of the time you can just relax in the hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Departure: On this day, our representative will drive you to the airport. Hope to see you again.
